A Long Journey to MBA Iftar..

Assalamualaikum n Hi....

The journey starts around 7.30 a.m.
While I was packing my things, I�ve notice that I left my purse in the office�
Immediately I text Nurul asks her a favor to drop to office first before heading to KL�
After I managed to take my purse, together with Nurul I have another add hock task� to close all the standby CPU in the lecturers room� since all of us will be away for more than a week, it just a waste to let the machine on�
Once the task it completed, we (read: me, Nurul and Kauthar) start our journey to KL... Tentatively it will take us about 2 hours to reach the heart of KL�
According to plan, 3 of us will be headed to Jalan TAR and Masjid India since we want to do some shopping spree�
However, apart from our pretty much a good plan, the Almighty have some other better plan for us�
At kilometer 125 just 500 meter ahead from Temerloh lay by, Nurul ask me if I did hear some sound that coming from the car�
So we decide to make a stop there in order for us to do some checking to the car� after we�re sure that everything is alright, we plan to continue our journey�
Much to our dismay, the car could not start� we thought that maybe it just a while but after waiting for 5 minutes, still the condition doesn�t show any progress�
Then decide to check all the engine part and then we discover that the radiator cap is disappear�
Right from that moment, the story of long journey to MBA Iftar begins�
Since my housemate was on the way too from Kuantan, we did ask them for help� it�s a good thing that we supposed to convoy from my house but due certain technical reason, they depart a bit later from us�
When we�re left at the highway, one big and black four wheel drive approach us�
At first we have a negative perception towards that man since he suddenly slow down his vehicle and immediately we�re anxious just like a normal TV drama�
Alhamdullilah, it�s turn out to be a nice and good man� he help us in diagnosis what the problem is until we couldn�t start the car� with his advice, we ask our friend to drop buy at Temerloh to find a new radiator cap�
Plus minus half hour, they finally reach at the kilometer 125 together with the precious cap� I silently pray that the problem could be settled�
Once more, we�re been tested by Him that the cap doesn�t fit into the radiator hose�
Since we have to buy another cap, Mar and Lut called their friends that working with Temerloh KBS to buy a double new cap�
This time, we�re hoping that the double new cap would fit nicely with the radiator hose�
When the friend of Mar and Lut came, once again we try the double new cap and alhamdullilah it match�
Since we need to make sure that all the equipment and engine is cool, we occupied our time by �lepaking� at the roadside of the highway�
When there is time to fill water into the hose and closely it with double new cap, we try to start the car engine�
It turns out that the car is rejecting the water that we�re trying to fill� with this condition it shows that the car problem is not a minor one�
At this point of time, Kak Mai starts to ask help from her friend�
The friend of her friend came� after run few testing, it has been verified that the problem is a huge one�
In order to make the car start again, it needs to be towed into nearest workshop�
It took nearly 4 hours before the towing petrol came�
We occupied our time by ding sort of things while waiting at the roadside�
Around 2.30 p.m the towing petrol came and we took the car to nearest workshop�
We�re going to KL with Jun car since she�s come all the way from Karak when she knows that we�re stranded�
Journey to KL continue right after we�re refreshing ourselves at Jun�s house�
Reach KL just about 5 minutes before breaking fast time�
Due another technical problem, we�re then need to find another place for our iftar since nobody were free to reconfirm back the reservation made in Rebung Restaurant�
I break my fast in the car before we finally made decision to dine in Ole-Ole Bali�
Arrived Sunway Pyramid around 8.30 p.m due to heavy traffic plus with the rainy days�
Even though the journey that suppose to be not too long become extremely long plus the tiredness of waiting and fasting, but it�s worth it�
Happy to be able to spend time with few of my classmates� we had so much fun�
To all that present for the iftar session yesterday, thanks a lot� =)

Assalamualaikum n Hi....

Alhamdullilah... thanks to the Almighty finally I will be able to graduate...
It such a nice feeling when I know I'll be graduated despite the fact that I'm no longer a student anymore...
But who know maybe next year of the other year I will be holding the title again...
Whatever it is, it just my plan, insyaAllah�
InsyaAllah this coming 15th October I'll be receiving my scroll�
I know some people would say too early to be excited but it's up to them�
I know how much I have sacrifice and tears of course in order to obtain the scroll�.
Again, my biggest praise convey to Him for giving me the courage to bounce every time I did slip in middle of my journey�
Not to forget my supportive families and friends� the scroll is yours too�
You guys have successfully guided me and tender me well till I manage to stand on my own feet� alhamdullilah�
It just a happy that I need to share with everybody�
Tomorrow my working place will be holding their iftar� and the event will be held in KSP cafeteria�
My department will need to prepare the beverages for the entire guest� lucky thing is that they only ask us to prepare the drinks� if not I would definitely be the no-nothing person� such a waste right�

Currently I'm quite free after a week been spam with all clerical work�
Right from preparing the notes for so-called dearly students, creating simple quizzes till completed the MQA syllabus format�
Alhamdullilah jobs done� glad until my heart can stop smiling for such relief�
But still, there's some stuff need to be update�
So can't feel the real leisure yet�
Till then, happy fasting� =)

Reflection on 8th Ramadhan�

Assalamualaikum n Hi....

It�s such a bless for being able to do works from home�
You can wear anything you comfortable with beside you can either sit still at the chair or freely lying on your bed�
Today, it�s already 8 Ramadhan� but I already discounted it to 6 days only�
Due to my ear problem� still not yet recovering�
Hopefully it can work normal like what I should be around next week insyaAllah�
Maybe it�s a �kifarah� for me as a result not using and taking care of the gift that He give to me (since I was born) in a good ways� my bad�
Currently still in middle of doing my finance notes� it seem that I need to do my own notes in order to make my learning and teaching process much better, insyaAllah�
I�m still struggling in finding optimal ways that will give benefits to my students� sometimes, it sound amusing when I was using any phrase that containing �my students��
Yeah, I�m still in adapting phase� hope things runs smoothly�
On this coming 8th Sept, they (read = my students) will be having their mid term exam�
When looking back at the good old times (not too old I guess) I still remember how we�ll (read = me and classmates) be rushing to cover any chapters that will be included in the exams�
Alhamdullilah we made it since we�re waiting for our graduation day insyaAllah this coming October�
What makes me worry now is that the mid term exam for my students will be coming all the way from UPM, Serdang�
So I don�t have any clue what kinds of question it will look like� I only know until what chapters it will be covering�
For SM and CB, the chapters that will be appearing on questions paper already been covered� the problem now is my finance subjects�
Next week, I will need to go more quickly since they still left out one chapter and optimistically I do hope I can finish before their exam date�
Enough for now� still need to prepare one set of quizzes for SM and finance�

It feels like yesterday celebrating the holy month�.
Alhamdullilah, it comes again�
InsyaAllah, tomorrow all Muslim worldwide will be fasting as it one of basic tenets of Islam� maybe in some other parts of the worlds, they already start to fast today since the factor of geographical areas, time different and etc�
Like previous year, I do hope that I�ll be able to fulfill my duty as a Muslim besides trying my very best to accumulate my �amal�...
InsyaAllah...
To all muslim, Happy Ramadhan al-Mubarak� May our ibadah is better that what we used to have before�

Story from Home...

Assalamualaikum n Hi...

Home sweet home, indeed, it's so much true� =)
The reason I'm home since my working place needs to stop from doing any operation due to the epidemic outbreak of H1N1 in Kuantan�
So, here I am in my hommy�
Such nice and breeze feeling to be able to have a week break from hectic working place� hectic ke??? Let me alone know the exact answer� hehhehehe
Holidays doesn't mean I can have my own sweet time� I still need to regularly check on my works besides keep in touch with my classes since it's a week break�
Lucky me cause I managed to meet them before they leave�
So they will have a short break but being accompanied by my works�
Such a mean educator right??? Ehhehehehe
Enough about my life there in Kuantan�
With this particular holiday I managed to settle few things� alhamdullilah�
In mean time, I have plenty of time in revising back on my notes�
It such a good plan that I've been thinking about� I was thinking to take a leave, but it seems that He planned for me quite well� =) thanks the Almighty for the gift�
Finally managed to finish up new JS novel� both the new novels just have its own specialty and magic�
I know people would say that I'm bias but that me�
I'm truly inspired by most of JS novel� it just not provides me entertaining stories that could soothe me but also I managed to make me find any hidden meaning behind the story�
Enough said, the morale story is what I appreciate most� yes, certainly I need to read between the lines� but I'm happy with that�
InsyaAllah I will come out with what I like about the Bintang-Bintang Ke Syurga by Xarine and also the lovely Pelangi by three charming people, Kaksu, Syud and Hlovate�
Ultimately, thanks for the stories�

I would like to wish an advanced and also belated Birthday Wishes to all special August people in my life.... there are my sweet Kaksu; the thoughtful brother, Azree; sweet accompany Kauthar; lovely ex-hoausemate, Kak Jat and Liza; ex-collegemate, Wanz and last but not least to my ex-classmate whom just get married last 2 month, Rohaiza.... may all your wishes and hopes shall be granted by Him, insyaAllah.... Meeting plus Intro Session....

Assalamualaikum n Hi...

Just finish my meeting just now with all the fellow educators�
The main reason to hold the meeting is to discuss on particular issues besides being introductory session for fellow new lecturers�.
So the session was quite OK since I do fill up the time by chatting with my new colleagues that happen to be my ex-classmate�
After being afflict with all those main agenda, the time for us new educators to be in a limelight just about to begin�
The introductory session start by few of male lecturers before it being passes to us a bunch of ladies�
I did suffer a stage freak condition as it was held in auditorium which big enough to cater number hundreds of students�
Luckily I manage to state my name, from where I am before I'm being asked about my current status�
What a typical minds of fellow Malays� I know I'm Malay too�
Now I'm in the middle of subconscious mind trying my best to reincarnate positive and energetic feelings for my finance class�
So till then, adios�. =)

Calm City Stories....

Asslamualaikum n Hi...

Calm City Story....
It has been 3 weeks I live my life in Eastern region�
I�m still in adapting phase�
The course that held in UPM last week was awesome�
Besides be able to know what KKB = �Kursus Kokurikulum Berkredit� which is UPM compulsory course to graduate, I also had acquired other knowledge�
The knowledge on how to deal with your so-called students� =)
Back about my life here in Kuantan, the environment was quite calm as compared to my usual atmosphere�
However, since you were used to the crowd and busy surroundings it somehow makes you miss that kind of place�
But in the name of doing my job, I need to acquire all the 3 A�s (adaptability, adjustable & accommodate) which have been taught by my LSP and LHP lecturer during undergraduate years� thanks to you, Mr. Kumaranair�.
So far, I have attended to all the classes for 3 different subject areas�
The students were quite ok except for my Finance classes� maybe because they�re passive and it�s hard to predict whether they�re with me or not�
The remaining Management and Marketing subjects are in state of better� the students were response accordingly� and it�s help to build my confidence in teaching them�
Now, me and my colleague who also my former classmate know how it�s felt when you could see all your students� activities when you�re at the front�
On the other hands, I already know how it felt when your students ask you to postpone the classes� not included the clashing classes that required you to entertain them personally�
It does give me 1001 headache�but I guess it�s a challenge that I need to take� I choose this path, so I need to carry on with it�
Hopefully everything will be going smoothly, insyaAllah� =)

Harry Potter: The Half Blood Prince

At last I managed to see this movie�
Actually I�m not a die hard fan for Harry Potter� but since many people around me was so hooked to this story; it somehow put a small influence in me�
As a result, I persuade Kauthar to accompany me to see the movie�
I�m glad that she does enjoy the movie�
In overall, the storyline was great as it an adaptation from the novel itself...
However, in terms of characters, all HP actors and actresses managed to deliver well�
All of them managed to grip the feel�
For this movie, I would rate it for 4.5 stars�

P/s: Just get the info that one of awesome Malaysian film maker, the late Yasmin Ahmad passed away peacefully� al-Fatihah

1st Update from Kuantan.....

Assalamualaikum n Hi...

It hard to say goodbye than to say hello�
I experienced it in many situations�
But somehow, it will be a very difficult for me so say goodbye to all 13 �Pegawai Tadbir Kontrak� or known among us as �PTK� in ICT Department in MOE�
It�s such a same feeling I felt when I already at the end of my both undergraduate and postgraduate days�
It�s hard for you to say goodbye or any words that carried similar meaning with it�
It�s not because you doesn�t like to move on or build up your career at new place, but it just a feeling for such attach bonding with people around you�
Yes, I�m very attaching to all the 13 people� if not all 13 of them but some of them whom really important to me when I decided to join MOE at the beginning of June 2009�
When I rewind back to my early days at MOE, I still can remember all the times when we're placed at the Ibnu Rusy and Ibnu Sina meeting room�
We�re there for 3 consecutive days before being placed to 8 available units under the ICT department�
I still can repeat back how we spend our entire boring days� up to the extend that we�re playing Bingo and even the �nama negeri� thingy�
In order to cover that we�re playing that kiddo games, we even invented some formula so that we can cover out mischievous activities�
Since we�re there without doing anything, most of us get to know each other in that particular room� in fact one of them said that if they (MOE) keep us maybe for a week or longer than that, we can already do a biography for all those PTK� what they likes, what no and hundred and one things that we can discussed on�
If I keep thinking about it, I will keep smiling� yeah� I miss all of them�
They light up my days in quiet surrounding of Putrajaya� besides my lovely cousin family...
I�m very happy since till today they still attach my email as one of the mailing list for those PTK� in fact they already have a new friend replacing my place�
Hope all of them will get permanent jobs as what I already got�
To all of you, you know who you are� thanks a lot�

So far my days here in Kuantan are good�
Those people were quite friendly and willing to help�
I try my best to reincarnate all the positive feeling that I got when I was still of one of those PTK�
Till now, I only required to teach 3 subjects� it from various fields� from management, finance and even marketing�
Currently I�m still doing an overall revision on those subjects since I have no teaching experience� hopefully all things will went accordingly�
What I�m sure, this job is 360 degree different with my previous job as PTK�
InsyaAllah next week I will start a lecture session since the BBA programme will only be started next week�
